I think the strive for authenticity isn't real.
People try all of their lives for it,
to be unique, and to be different.
And they never reach it.
It is said that Kurt Cobain killed himself because he strived for the ultimate authenticity,
but in doing so he 'sold out'.
And with that he realized to be real and in the only way to make himself authentic in this world,
he would have to choose to no longer live in it.
Ignorance isn't bliss, its an excuse.
If you admit it, try and change it.
If you can't, Go kill yourself.
